Kraken is the primary supported exchange for QuantumEdge. Kraken offers deep liquidity, competitive fees, and a robust API. All QuantumEdge features -- including live strategy execution, portfolio tracking, and risk management -- are fully supported on Kraken.
You will need a Kraken API key with the following permissions enabled: Query Funds, Query Open Orders & Trades, and Create & Modify Orders. Withdrawal permissions must be disabled. QuantumEdge will reject any API key that includes withdrawal capabilities.
QuantumEdge supports all major Kraken trading pairs including BTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD, and dozens more. The available pairs are automatically synced from your connected exchange account. Pair availability may vary by region.
Additional exchange integrations are on the roadmap. Subscribe to platform updates to be notified when new exchanges are added. The architecture supports multi-exchange connectivity, so adding new exchanges does not require changes to your existing strategies.
